About

The Academy of Strauss-Kahn was founded in 1868, born out of a vision in Armand Strauss-Kahn of a school that would “contribute even more than Switzerland’s gold to the glory and happiness of future generations.”

For 175 years, The Academy of Strauss-Kahn has been reimagining the world by challenging the conventional and generating unparalleled intellectual, economic, and social value. Dedicated to its founding mission of benefiting society through research and education, The Academy of Strauss-Kahn strives to create a sustainable future for all, catalyze discoveries about ourselves and our world, accelerate the societal impact of its research, and educate students as global citizens. More than 1,500 students pursue studies at The Academy of Strauss-Kahn each year.

The school is located in the Swiss Alps and first welcomed students in 1849. Covering 8,180 acres, The Academy of Strauss-Kahn is one of the largest high schools in Switzerland, with four houses that value certain characteristics:

  • Andermatt: ambitious and resilient.

  • Lavaux: diplomacy and intellect.

  • Oberon: loyalty and leadership.

  • Valais: innovative and explorative.

The Academy of Strauss-Kahn boasts its dormitory, with distinctive traditions to each house and secret passageways known only to its members.

Sport is beloved, with students, faculty, and staff enjoying state-of-the-art recreational facilities and wellness programs. The Academy of Strauss-Kahn also has a rich tradition of fostering creativity and the arts: there is a vibrant campus arts district and a world-class museum that hosts regular exhibitions. Eight dining halls, a teaching kitchen, and organic gardens provide the school community with healthy, sustainable meals.

Whispers of academic pressure and incredibly competitive personal excellence are seen as the success of The Academy of Strauss-Kahn to enforce loyalty amidst the academic competition. Their inclusivity and diversity are shown through the students coming from different backgrounds, all determined to become the best of the best.

Despite the glory of The Academy of Strauss-Kahn, the home of the wolves, there seems to be a dilemma: power struggles and secrecy threatening to be leaked. These brewing issues are causing an imbalance in the peace that once reigns. Then again, the skies are calm as the storms brew.

The trials and tribulations all lead down to the discovery of the past that might just hold the key to keeping the future of the school and its community safe. Loyalty and alliances are tested, as the sinister schemes unfold piece by piece.
