General Rules

  1. Feel free to reach out via direct message if you need assistance understanding terms like Original Character (OC), Alternative Universe (AU), plotting, or other commonly used phrases in roleplay.

  2. Please note that interacting with accounts unrelated to Strauss-Kahn Academy is prohibited. This includes replying to or liking tweets about Face Claims (FC) or unrelated topics. Use X's bookmarking feature to save such tweets instead.

  3. All rules listed on the school rules page are meant to be broken—feel free to do as you please within the school. However, be warned: once or twice a month, there will be an inspection, so tread carefully when the time comes.

  4. Strauss-Kahn Academy is a 21+ agency that allows plots involving violence, smut, and other mature content. Writers must include trigger warnings at the beginning of such plots and specify the parts containing sensitive content.

  5. The agency welcomes individuals of all races, genders, and sexual orientations. You’re encouraged to create imaginative characters, as long as the chosen Face Claim (FC) aligns with the character’s nationality and the character avoids unrealistic perfection (e.g., Mary Sue/Gary Stu).

  6. Drama or conflict within the agency is strictly prohibited to maintain harmony. Any issues between members or with admins should be resolved privately via direct message (DM).

  7. Admins reserve the right to take disciplinary actions, such as warnings, sanctions, or unverification, against members whose behavior disrupts the agency's environment.

Characters

  1. As a closed agency AU set in Switzerland, an European country, we accept diverse face claims (FCs). These can include Western (75%) and Asian (25%) options. However, FCs must align with the established rules and be appropriate to the character’s background. Please note that race-washing is strictly prohibited.

  2. Playable characters must be:

    • First-year, 15 - 16 years old (2008 - 2009 born),

    • Second year,16 - 17 years old (2007–2008 born),

    • Third year, 17 - 18 years old (2006–2007 born).

    • Fourth year, 18 - 19 years old (2005–2006 born).

  3. There is no age limit for NPC characters.

  4. The minimum FC age is 2006 (18 by 2025) and the maximum FC age is 1997 (28 by 2025). We’re using Gen Z FCs only. There are no restrictions on raising and lowering the age, but it is expected to adjust, and pay attention to rule #2.

  5. Twin characters (using the same FC) are not allowed.

  6. Family relations (whether blood-related or not) are limited to a maximum of 3, including your character.

  7. It is not allowed to use another member's FC as an NPC (non-playable character) FC.
